- Overview
- We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team at a popular resort. As the first point of contact for guests, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable experience for all visitors.
- Duties
- Greet and check-in guests, handling all administrative tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Manage front desk operations, including handling phone calls and ensuring prompt response to guest inquiries.
- Provide exceptional customer service, resolving any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assist with guest services, including providing information on resort amenities, activities, and local attractions.
- Handle guest relations, addressing any complaints or issues in a fair and courteous manner.
- Perform night audit duties, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge about hotel policies, services, and amenities.
- Operate phone systems and ensure all calls are handled in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide support to other departments, including housekeeping and maintenance.
- Experience
- Previous experience in a hospitality environment, preferably within a hotel or resort setting.
- Strong background in customer service, with the ability to handle a variety of situations.
- Familiarity with hospitality management principles and practices.
- Proficiency with hotel software and phone systems.
- Experience with night audit procedures is highly desirable.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality management degree or certification is a plus.
- Skills
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Strong customer service and guest relations skills.
- Knowledge of hotel operations, including hospitality management practices.
