Job Description

Front Desk Associate/Receptionist The Rose Garden of Fort Myers 2117 Earl Road, Fort Myers, FL 33901 The Rose Garden of Fort Myer is currently looking for a Full-Time Front Desk Associate/Receptionist.

Rate of Pay:

$13.00 to $14.00 per hour (per experience)

Schedule:

Monday Through Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English. Must be able to pass Level II background check, and drug screening. We are looking for a jovial, organized, professional-organized person with great computer skills.

Summary:

The Front Desk Associate/Receptionist is often the initial contact and first impression that many people have of the community. The Front Desk Associate/Receptionist is responsible for clients, guests, assisting management in clerical duties, maintaining records, emails, managing both external and internal calls, and taking/communicating messages in a timely and accurate manner. The The Front Desk Associate/Receptionist must be dressed professionally both for the interview and daily if hired.

Physical Requirements:

This position demands good physical and mental health. The receptionist must be able to sit for long periods of time, stand, bend, and walk and carry things associated with the job. Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications:

Customer service experience and skills, patience, ability to handle multiple priorities, demonstrates good organizational, time management skills and follow through skills, demonstrates good judgement, problem solving and decision making skills. Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Publisher, required. Hotel software a plus. Education and/or

Experience:

High School or equivalent. Ability to read, write, speak English clearly and follow oral or written instructions.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Must meet the requirements indicated herein. Must successfully complete training as required by Federal, State and local requirements.

Other Skills and Abilities:

Must be friendly, cooperative, courteous, patient and concerned about residents’, staff and visitor’s well-being. Must be highly organized and detailed orientated. Proficient in computer skills including email/Outlook, Microsoft excel and word. Job Duties for the Receptionist/ Concierge Takes complete messages with pertinent information (name, number, and message) as appropriate and communicates messages to the intended recipient. Answers incoming calls and resident calls within two-three (2-3) rings with the appropriate community greeting messages and identification. Reviews, reads, notates and initializes daily DAR to document and learn about pertinent information. Assist with office duties such as typing, mail-outs, preparing lists, and filing. Assist with employee time-card corrections and implementation Works cooperatively with all office staff Updates Employee census, Resident Phone List, Census, Move- In and Move- Out log, Invoice mailing list LOA ,etc. Prepares meal tickets for team members. Organizes and distributes mail to residents and staff members. Post daily activity posters. Keep track/logging of rent checks. Ensures all keys and radios are properly signed in and out. Manages appointments for residents such as trip to the bank. Promotes dignity and respect among all residents/guests. Maintains working knowledge of fire and disaster plans and has a working knowledge of their own responsibilities under emergency conditions. Perform all duties assigned in an effective, timely, and professional manner. Observe infection control procedures and properly correct if needed. Accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner. Report to work on time and as scheduled, consistently demonstrating dependability and punctuality. Report to work in neat, clean attire and consistently present an appropriate professional appearance. Maintain a professional attitude and consistently work cooperatively with guests, residents, supervisors, co-workers and third party vendors.
