Job Description
Front Desk Associate Physio Healing Therapy 12595 SW 137th Avenue, Miami, FL 33186 Office open at 9:00 at that time front desk needs to be ready to process patients.
Greeting patients:
Welcoming patients and visitors in person or by phone (with a pleasant attitude) Scheduling appointments: Scheduling appointments based on doctor availability, continuous follow up until patient is schedule.
Managing patient records:
Maintaining patient accounts, including personal and financial information Processing payments: Collecting patient co-pays and account balances, and providing patients with receipts ( If applies) Answering questions: Answering patients’ questions and providing assistance Tending to Cell phone communication with manager at all times (cell phone will be provided.
Maintaining confidentiality:
Protecting patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information Following policies: Following policies and procedures, and reporting needed changes Communicating with others: Coordinating with insurance companies, referring medical offices, and pathology labs Comforting patients: Anticipating patients’ anxieties and helping patients in distress Preparing documents: Preparing necessary documents for the patient’s visit Notifying patients: Calling patients to remind them of upcoming appointments and schedule off-site services Rescheduling appointments: Rescheduling or moving late arriving patients when necessary Using software: Using practice management software(CT), patient portals, and appointment reminder systems Sending medical notes/ ledger to providers every Friday of the week. Updating patients’ files with notes and alerts at all times Front desk and Lobby area trash can empty at the end of each day. Maintaining lobby area cleanliness and readiness at all times. Reporting to your supervisor when patient cannot be scheduled Immediately.
Billing Assistant Experience:
- Previous experience in hospitality management or a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of night audit procedures and guest services is a plus
- Familiarity with front desk operations and hotel management software
- Bilingual skills (e.g., English/Spanish) are beneficial for communicating with diverse guests
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
