JOB SUMMARY
Control inventory of hotel rooms as well as keeping track of all repeat guest and upselling program
JOB SPECIFIC TASKS
Operations Responsible for blocking, groups. Pass on group information to Front Desk. Ensure all special requests from transient guest are blocked and noted on accounts Ensure that all Marriott Reward Elite Program members, VIP’s and repeat guest are identified, recognized and pre-blocked. Work directly with Guest Relations Manager when blocking VIP rooms Become familiar with top 50 guests, important special corporate accounts, and frequent guests to deliver room type request. Keep track of front office supplies inventory, ordering, completing purchase orders and monitoring expenses. Maintain declining balances on other expenses for room areas. Monitor payroll reports to ensure accuracy (missing punches, PTO, Overtime Authorization etc.) Attend all departmental meetings. Actively oversee Drake Beils upselling program, by analyzing daily and weekly arrivals, and prepare information to be shared with front office Walk the assigned rooms for VIPs, X4, P6, and X1 Monitor room changes Verify wait status list and communicate with housekeeping regarding room status. Control and supervise rooms under maintenance codes and verify with corresponding departments statuses. Assisting agents and GXP coordinators as needed. Skills and Knowledge Professional demeanor. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills with ability to handle multiple projects and function well under pressure. Working knowledge of PMS and MARSHA Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Education or Certification High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
