Full Job Description Position Summary:
The Part-Time Night Auditor ensures the smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours, balancing day-end financials, managing overnight guest needs, and preparing for the next day’s operations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a calm presence, excellent judgment, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform nightly audit procedures to reconcile and verify daily transactions from all departments Run end-of-day reports, post charges, and balance revenue streams across systems Prepare and distribute daily reports for management and ownership Oversee front desk operations during overnight hours, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest requests Ensure the security and safety of the property, monitoring cameras and access points as needed Respond to any guest issues or emergencies with professionalism and discretion Communicate overnight updates to morning team during shift handoff Maintain lobby and front desk cleanliness and readiness for morning operations Support occasional administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
Prior experience in hotel front desk or night audit strongly preferred Familiarity with PMS systems (e.g., Opera, or similar) Strong analytical and organizational skills Trustworthy, punctual, and self-motivated Ability to remain alert, composed, and responsive during overnight hours Availability for overnight shifts on weekends and holidays
