The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor. Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest information. Handle reservations and inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with excellent phone etiquette. Process payments using a cash register and POS system accurately. Assist guests with questions regarding services, amenities, and local attractions. Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is clean and organized at all times. Collaborate with other departments to fulfill guest requests and enhance their experience. Conduct product demos when necessary to promote hotel services or amenities. Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and retail sales transactions. Qualifications Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred. Familiarity with grocery store operations or similar environments is a plus. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Proficiency in using POS systems; experience with cash registers is beneficial. A team player who can adapt to changing situations and guest needs.
