Description Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and adaptable hospitality professional to serve as the Task Force Director of Guest Services for Front Desk Operations. This temporary leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily front desk operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, and supporting staff during a transitional period. The ideal candidate brings strong operational expertise, leadership, and a guest-first mindset to maintain and elevate service standards during the assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage front desk staff to deliver outstanding guest service and smooth check-in/check-out processes.
Maintain high standards of guest satisfaction by resolving issues promptly and professionally.
Support training and development of front desk team members during the assignment.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive guest experiences.
Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies, and procedures.
Provide operational support and insight to hotel leadership during the transitional period. Requirements Qualifications:
3+ years of management experience in front desk or guest services within a hotel setting.
Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, service-focused environment.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Flexible and able to quickly adapt to new environments and team dynamics.
Prior task force or transitional leadership experience is a plus.
Physical Demands
- Position requires walking and giving direction most of the working day; must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch.
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, walking, repetitive motions, bending, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
- Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and subordinates.
- Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.
- Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
- Must have finger dexterity to be able to operate office equipment such as computers, printers, calculator, keyboard, multi-line touch tone phone, filing cabinets, FAX machines, photocopiers, dolly and other office equipment as needed.
