Job Description:

Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts. Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction. Process all check-ins and check-outs according to established hotel requirements. Adhere to payment, cash handling and credit policies/procedures. Generate, print, and distribute daily reports to designated departments/personnel. Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping. Other duties as assigned. Responsibilities Provide superior guest services including check-in/check-out hotel guests courteously and efficiently; process all payments according to established hotel requirements; Provide information and services to any guest or visitor in a friendly, professional manner. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent. Minimum one year customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred. Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding. Computer experience preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus. Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele. Greet and welcome guests in a courteous and professional manner Check guests in/out efficiently using hotel software Answer phone calls, emails, and assist with reservations Communicate amongst departments to ensure guest request, work orders, and hotel concerns are delivered to the appropriate department Resolve guest issues or complaints promptly and professionally Maintain knowledge of hotel amenities, services, and local attractions Process payments and perform end-of-shift cash reconciliation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills; previous POS system (OnQ, Opera, PEP, FOSSE) proficiency preferred Flexible schedule, including evening, weekends and holidays
