If so, our Best Western Plus team in Richmond Hill wants to hear from you! As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the face of our hotel, playing a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a comfortable and memorable stay. You’ll handle everything from welcoming arrivals to assisting with inquiries, making reservations, and ensuring smooth departures.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Warmly greet guests upon arrival and efficiently manage the check-in process. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally, both in person and over the phone. Accurately process guest check-outs and handle payments. Manage hotel reservations, ensuring accuracy and maximizing occupancy. Maintain a thorough knowledge of hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to assist guests effectively. Operate the hotel’s property management system with accuracy and efficiency. Handle and distribute incoming mail, messages, and faxes. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area. Collaborate effectively with housekeeping team members to meet guest demands. Follow all hotel policies and procedures.
What We’re Looking For:
A positive and enthusiastic attitude with a genuine desire to help others. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software. Previous customer service experience is preferred; hotel experience is a plus. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. A high school diploma or equivalent.
