Role:

As a Front Desk Agent at Element by Marriott Savannah, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their entire stay. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest service, ensuring smooth and efficient check-in and check-out processes, and addressing guest inquiries and needs with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your friendly demeanor and attention to detail will contribute directly to guest satisfaction and the overall success of the hotel.

Responsibilities:
Guest Service Excellence:

Warmly greet guests upon arrival and departure. Efficiently and accurately handle guest check-in and check-out procedures, including processing payments and issuing room keys. Provide guests with information about the hotel, local area attractions, directions, and hotel services. Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns via phone, email, and in person. Resolve guest issues effectively and escalate complex situations to the appropriate manager when necessary. Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance. Maintain a positive and helpful attitude at all times.

Operational Efficiency:

Manage and update guest reservations accurately in the hotel’s property management system (PMS). Prepare daily reports and complete necessary paperwork. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area. Follow established hotel policies and procedures. Communicate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure guest needs are met. Assist with light concierge duties, such as making restaurant reservations or arranging transportation. Adhere to all safety and security procedures.

Brand Ambassador:

Represent the Element by Marriott brand with pride and professionalism. Demonstrate knowledge of Element’s unique offerings and sustainability initiatives. Engage with guests in a way that reflects the brand’s welcoming and active lifestyle focus.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment, is highly desirable.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time Pay:

$15.00 – $16.00 per hour
