This is a guest-facing role based in our lobby, where you’ll be the first point of contact for visitors checking in, asking questions about the island, or needing assistance during their stay. If you enjoy meeting new people, know your way around Tybee, and can juggle a fast-paced environment with a smile, this could be your spot.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Greet guests with warmth and professionalism as they arrive at our office Provide local recommendations and directions—everything from where to grab shrimp tacos to the best spot for a sunrise walk Answer phones and assist with basic reservation questions or re-routing calls to the appropriate team members Help with light administrative tasks and guest communication Ensure our lobby remains welcoming, tidy, and stocked with brochures and local info You’re a
Great Fit If You:
Have previous guest service or hospitality experience Are outgoing, helpful, and can handle questions with patience and grace Know Tybee Island like a local—or are eager to learn quickly Can be flexible with your schedule, including weekends or holidays when needed Are comfortable using basic office tech (phones, email, basic systems—we’ll train you on ours) This position is open to both part-time and full-time candidates. Scheduling is flexible, but we’re looking for someone who’s reliable and enjoys being part of a small, dedicated team focused on giving every guest a smooth and memorable experience.
