Front Desk Agent Holiday Inn Express 318 Highway 90 W Frontage Road, New Iberia, LA 70560 Job Overview Set schedule: Sunday-Tuesday 3pm-11pm, off Wednesday & Thursday, 5pm-11pm Friday, 3pm-11pm Saturday. We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various guest requests efficiently. Bilingual or multilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as we value diverse communication skills in our guest relations. Duties Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor. Check guests in and out of their rooms efficiently while ensuring accuracy in billing and reservations. Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions. Manage phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded. Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and effectively to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for incoming guests. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, reflecting the hotel’s standards of hospitality. Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining guest confidentiality. Qualifications Previous experience in a hotel or resort environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus. Proficiency in handling cash transactions and basic accounting principles. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Familiarity with hotel management software is advantageous but not required; training will be provided. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
