Transportation/Guest Service Associate Position Available In Berkshire, Massachusetts

This role is responsible for the safe and timely transport of patientsand their belongings to and from inpatient rooms and care areas and upondischarge Responsible for greeting family members and visitors andescorting them to various locations throughout the facility. Screensfamily members and visitors to ensure the safety and security ofvisitors and staff, notify security discretely should the person be aVIP.

• Experience
• Hospitality experience preferred.
• On the jobtraining under the direction of the Department Supervisor and anexperienced Guest Service Associate.
• Education
• High school diplomaor GED preferred.
• License & Certifications
• CPR is required within3 months of hire.
• De-escalation training within 1 month of hire.
• Additional Requirements
• Familiar with transport equipment such as,stretcher, oxygen tanks, and hospital/ICU beds.
• Ability to followinstructions.
• Ability to perform repetitive duties.
• Willingness tocomplete assignments with a high level of quality and consideration ofpatients, staff, and visitors.
• Ability to receive constructivecriticism professionally.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to use communication devices such as telephones, computers, barcodes, pagers, etc.
• Works well together with different units anddepartments throughout the Hospital community
• Full knowledge ofhospital ethics and policies as they pertain to the job are required.

• Schedule:

• (40 HRS) Monday
• Friday, 10:00 am to 6:30 pm (1st and 2ndshift), rotating holidays and weekends.
