The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth check-in and check-out experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. The Front Desk Agent will play a crucial role in maintaining the hotel’s reputation for outstanding service. Responsibilities Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and assist with check-in and check-out procedures. Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and efficiently, ensuring satisfaction throughout their stay. Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, using hotel management software. Operate phone systems to answer calls, provide information, and direct inquiries to appropriate departments. Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, adhering to hotel standards. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs effectively. Provide information about local attractions, dining options, and hotel amenities. Assist in resolving any guest complaints or issues with professionalism and courtesy. Experience Previous experience in guest services or front desk operations is preferred. Familiarity with hotel management systems is advantageous. Strong phone etiquette skills are essential for effective communication with guests. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus to cater to diverse clientele. Knowledge of hospitality management principles is beneficial. Experience with night audit procedures is an asset but not required.
