Guest Services Supervisor – Full Time with Benefits Fairfield Inn & Suites Morganton Historic Downtown 400 North Green Street, Morganton, NC 28655 This position requires you to work morning, mid, or evening shifts as dictated by the needs of the hotel. You MUST also be able to work weekends. Guest Service Supervisors are responsible for setting the standard for guest relations at the front desk by approaching all encounters in a friendly and professional manner. Supervisors will also work desk shifts as part of their schedule.

Primary responsibilities include:

Deliver exceptional customer service for all guests before, during, and at the conclusion of their stay. Fully comprehend and be able to execute all tasks associated with the front desk property management system and Guest Service Representative duties. Be aware of all rates, packages, and promotions Be familiar with all in house groups Monitoring all VIP and special guest requests. Be at all times attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and all other associates. Perform required tasks per brand and company standards including guest package acceptance, stocking and cleaning The Market and front desk. Adhere to all franchise and company procedures and regulations as well as standard operating procedures. Deliver service to comply with Marriott International standards as well as North Star Lodging Management. Perform any other duty as required by management. Full-time, Non-exempt Summary In the role of Guest Services Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting the General Manager and Assistant General Manager while providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests, prior to arrival and throughout their stay. Would also be responsible for maximizing room revenue and occupancy. Qualifications Proven customer service skills with a strong background in hospitality and guest relations. Experience in front desk operations within a hotel environment. Proficiency in multi-line phone systems and effective phone etiquette. Knowledge of hospitality management practices. Familiarity with night audit processes. Flexible and long hours sometimes required. Must be able to stand the duration of shift. Must be able to problem solve and show initiative in job performance. Strong supervisory and communication skills. must be able to work with and understand financial data.

Job Type:

$15.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
