Spa Attendant/Front Desk Job Description Spa Attendant/Front Desk:
The Spa Attendant/Front Desk Attendant exudes warmth and graciousness as the first and last impression of the spa. This position includes working in the spa, utilizing scheduling software, working directly with multiple guests and service providers. They are knowledgeable on all salon and spa treatments, products and the point of sale process. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities warmly greet arriving guests confidently and enthusiastically answer calls and respond to emails handle customer inquiries both in-person and via phone accurately schedule guest appointments in Salon & Spa Software cash-out guests at the completion of services or product purchases research required guest information using available resources manage and resolve customer concerns provide customers with product and service information enter new customer information into Salon & Spa Software update existing customer information process orders, forms and applications identify and escalate priority issues route calls to the appropriate resource follow up customer calls where necessary document all call information according to standard operating procedures Education and Experience high school diploma or equivalent experience in a front desk guest services environment required experience in face to face guest interaction proficient in relevant computer applications knowledge of customer service principles and practices knowledge of basic phone systems and their use good data entry and typing skills knowledge of administration and clerical processes Key Competencies verbal and written communication skills listening skills problem analysis and problem-solving customer service orientation organizational skills attention to detail adaptability teamwork
