Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays Job Overview We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our evening shift team at Colts Neck Inn. As the face of the hotel during the 3 PM to 11 PM shift, you will be the first point of contact for arriving guests and play a key role in delivering a seamless and welcoming guest experience. Key Responsibilities Greet all guests with warmth and professionalism at check-in and check-out Manage front desk operations including room assignments, payments, and guest inquiries Answer phone calls courteously and handle reservations, cancellations, and messages Resolve guest issues or concerns efficiently, with excellent customer service Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness and cleanliness Maintain accurate records of guest stays, transactions, and shift logs Provide information about local attractions, dining, and amenities Ensure the lobby and front desk area remain clean and organized during the shift Handle basic security tasks such as monitoring key returns and guest activity Close out the shift with daily cash/credit reconciliation and reporting Required Skills & Qualifications Previous front desk or customer service experience preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Comfortable handling multiple tasks under pressure Proficient with basic computer systems (hotel PMS knowledge a plus) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Dependable and punctual with the ability to work independently Bilingual or multilingual skills a plus Must be able to stand for extended periods and work some weekends/holidays Why Join Us?
