The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet guests, clients, or visitors with a positive and professional attitude Check in/out guests, issue keys, and handle reservations (for hotels) Answer and direct incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries Maintain accurate records and complete reports as required. Assist with night audit duties, including balancing accounts and preparing reports. Maintain knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and events to assist guests effectively. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for occupancy. Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality of guest information. Skills Proven experience in front desk operations or similar roles within the hospitality industry is preferred. Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to foster positive guest relations. Knowledge of hospitality management principles and customer service best practices. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a busy environment. Familiarity with hotel management software and night audit processes is advantageous.
