Hotel Front Desk Clerk Part Time/Per Diem 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars 3912 Vineyard Drive, Dunkirk, NY 14048 Job description We are looking for a Hotel Front Desk Agent to serve as our guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation at our Best Western Dunkirk and Quality Inn locations. Hotel Front Desk Agent responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations and providing information about rooms, rates and amenities. If you have a knack for customer service and work experience in the hotel industry, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests. The goal is to find someone who’s schedule is fairly open and available, to fit into the new schedule and be available to pick up off shifts if the need arises. Of course not many will be available every shift, every time, keep in mind hotels are 24/7/365. I would like to find someone who is able to work any of the 3 shifts (6:00am-2:00pm, 2:00pm-10:00pm, 10:00pm-6:00am) 1 Full time overnight shift: 5 days a week, 10pm-6am (days TBD) 1 full time weekly shift: 5 days a week 2pm-10pm. This shift is temporary for the next month or so. We have 2 hotels in the area and both are in need for someone who can be trained and work at each property, if hired for per diem work. Since the hotels are 24/7, there are always needs for shifts to be filled. In addition, per diem employees will be given first opportunity to take any permanent positions as they become available. •Please specify when applying, which position you are applying for•Responsibilities Perform all check-in and check-out tasks Manage online and phone reservations Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay) Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate Maintain updated records of bookings and payments Skills Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role Experience with hotel reservations software, like Visual Matrix or Choice Advantage Customer service attitude Excellent communication and organizational skills
