Overnight Front Desk Associate SpringHill Suites 6647 Transit Road, Buffalo, NY 14221 Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and friendly Overnight Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Service Excellence:
Greet and check in guests with a warm, friendly demeanor. Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Independent Problem Solving:
Handle guest concerns and operational challenges independently, demonstrating sound judgment and decision-making skills without immediate management assistance.
Night Audit & Financial Accuracy:
Perform nightly audit procedures, including reconciling accounts, processing payments, and ensuring all financial transactions are accurate and balanced.
Safety & Security:
Monitor hotel premises to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff. Respond to emergencies and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Operational Efficiency:
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to address guest needs and property issues.
Communication:
Effectively communicate with all hotel departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year in overnight hotel front desk or night audit roles; prior experience with Marriott properties is preferred but not required.
Reliability:
Demonstrated history of punctuality and dependability in previous positions.
Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to think critically and resolve issues independently, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Guest-Focused Attitude:
Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
Technical Proficiency:
Comfortable using hotel management software and basic office applications.
Education:
