We are opening a new property with an all-day public restaurant and private members’ club located in the former Margaret Louisa Home in Union Square. We are looking for a Reservations Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for experienced FOH professionals who are looking to grow in hospitality, guest relations, and high-end service.
Overview:
The Reservations Manager oversees Hotel reservations, day to day operations, relationship management with partners, ownership, and guests. This role works closely with the Front Office department and the Sales department to ensure a smooth booking process and stay.
General Responsibilities:
Provide a consistently high level of customer service when dealing with guests, members and colleagues by offering an engaging, attentive and charismatic service to all who contact us by phone, e-mail. Building, strengthening loyalty and embodying the spirit, ethos, values, culture and integrity of The Twenty Two Ensures correct + accurate input of reservations Responds to emails in a professional and timely manner Intake of reservation calls and log of all enquiries Creates and manages the waitlist and ‘curating’ our manor accordingly Performs initial profiling of guests Sends pre-arrival email ahead of guest arrival including concierge reach outs (restaurant, theatre bookings) Follows up on missing information and chase third party payment forms and incomplete billing instructions Ensures optimization of allocation to allow the maximum number of reservations possible. Logs of all special requests and celebrations as well as any special requirements advised in advance via reservations department Confidently handles any guest feedback or complaints, ensuring that you always deliver a positive first response, resolving any such complaints in a satisfactory manner, informing, and following to the General Manager Manages the Reservations team to ensure all members provide exceptional service
Experience Required:
