Guest Service Associate The Inn at Lake Joseph 162 Saint Josephs Road, Forestburgh, NY 12777 The Guest Services Associate will assist in the myriad details of a guest stay, from contact and assisting guests in their daily needs to daily housekeeping and upkeep of property. They will ensure that guests are satisfied and work towards building a great guest experience. Duties & Functions Healthy communication with Food & Beverage and Engineering departments and ensure that guest’s expectations are met and anticipated. Keep workspaces clean, tidy and organized at all times. Communicate with the General Manager for any needs, purchases, services or assistance. Respond to all guests’ requests or needs in a proper manner and ensure appropriate action is taken. Maintains current culture, amenities, and services, events in the area, points of interest, and services in the area. Clean guest rooms to meet the company’s service standards. Clean and Fold Laundry in a timely manner. All other tasks and duties as assigned. Set a professional standard with the team that falls in line with the company’s culture. Have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills. Display a positive and cheerful demeanor along with a caring personality. Good problem solving ability. Fluency in reading, writing and spoken English. Qualifications & Standards Excellent communication skills, verbal and written Command of the English language, written and verbal Possess excellent interpersonal skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
