We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team at our boutique hotel located in the Catskill Mountains in Woodstock, New York. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests, checking guests in and out, handling reservations, and ensuring a positive guest experience.

Takes responsibility for a spectacular “360” guest experience Transacts business with care and focus Fosters an environment of hospitality for both coworkers and guests
SPECIFIC TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages hotel reservations for guests through operating system, phone calls, and in-person inquires Takes responsibility for the “360 degree” care of the guest through excellent guest interaction in person and via email, phone, and text. Anticipates and pre-empts guests needs and provides guests with recommendations and assistance with making plans and reservations Manages massage and reiki appointments by coordinating with hotel guests and third-party wellness contractors Is knowledgeable about retail offerings and rings up guests for purchases Takes responsibility for the look, feel and cleanliness of the Tannery space•this includes (but is not limited to) light merchandising and monitoring of playlists Reviews guest notes and preferences and sets up amenities for incoming guests in rooms Communicates clearly and consistently with Housekeeping Team, Front Desk Team Members, and Maintenance about the status of guest rooms•and any issues with guest rooms or the property as a whole Inspects rooms with attention to detail and adherence to provided SOPs and guidelines and provides feedback to Housekeeping Managers when needed Maintains an inventory of supplies to ensure the Front Desk has the tools to do their job Keeps work areas and storage areas tidy and organized Shows respect, care, and consideration for co-workers and guests

Guest Satisfaction•as indicated through reviews, guest surveys, and general feedback Ease and tone of daily service Daily presentation of the rooms and property as a whole Correct charges and transactions in various operating systems
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field preferred 1-2 years of customer service or front desk experience in a hotel or hospitality environment preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills and experience with hotel reservation software (e.g., Opera, Webrez) Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Passion for hospitality and a desire to provide exceptional service to guests. Candidate must have means of transportation to get to and from work.

$21.00•$23.00 per hour Expected hours: 25•35 per week
