Team Member Requirements:
Function as a representative of the AKA culture and standards to all Team Members and our residents. Approach all encounters with residents and Team Members in a friendly, service-oriented manner. Promotes a safe, secure and healthy work environment. Maintains Resident/Resident privacy and confidentiality by protecting all personal information. Team Member should have intimate knowledge of surrounding area including but not limited to: restaurants, retail, arts, cultural activities, etc. Familiar with emergency and safety procedures for your position.
Responsibilities:
Function as an ambassador of the AKA culture and AKA brand standards to all team members, residents and vendor relationships and encourage all team members to do the same. Comply with the Korman Communities team member responsibility and code of conduct as set forth in the Korman Communities team member employment handbook. Ensure effective communication and maintain a professional and harmonious working relationship between all departments within the property, throughout the AKA brand and other brands and the corporate office leadership team. Ensure timely completion of all assigned responsibilities. Attend and participate in all required team meetings. Oversee the Front Office on Front Office’s Manager days off. Oversee the daily operations of the amenity floor. This will included scheduling, coaching and counseling, hiring and training, inventory and ordering, and payroll. Work with the Front Office Manager on department schedules and assignments. Special project coordination. Lead the amenity floor team and front office team by providing structure, motivation, coaching, guidance and positive encouragement as necessary to ensure a premier level of service, professionalism, communication. Ensure all amenity floor and front office team members are in compliance at all times with the image requirements and are well presented. Train new hire team members. Perform monthly asset walks of the overall conditions of Level28 with team members and develop an improvement plan with team members. Participate in and maintain accurate inventory records such as linen, uniform and amenity supply inventories, inventory par stocks, discard reports, movement of inventory stock items, tools and the distribution of products. Maintain and expand a positive working relationship with existing and new vendor relationships. Cover breaks at the Front Desk when necessary. Have a presence at the Front Office on Front Office days. Lead and assist with execution of events on Level28. Manage and execute Level28 member billing on a monthly basis. Other duties as assigned.
Desired Skills:
Demonstrated energetic, self-motivating and a “can do” positive attitude. Proficiency in English (written and oral). Possess a desire to learn. Take accountability and ownership for work performance. Meticulous attention to detail, motivational skills, verbal communication skills, written communication skills and manageability.
Required Qualifications:
High school degree or equivalent. Minimum of one year of Front Office experience. Ability to be flexible with work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 40 lbs. of weight and able to push and pull up to 75 lbs. if needed Physically capable of standing and walking 90% of the work day. Sits, stands, bends, stretches, lifts items and moves intermittently during working hours.
