Holiday Inn Express Elliston Place is a brand new hotel in the heart of Nashville, just across from Vanderbilt University. This new hotel features 184 rooms with an outdoor pool, onsite parking, a spacious fitness center, complimentary breakfast and a self-serve beer wall. We opened in April 2025! About You We are in search of Front Desk Agents who share our enthusiasm for Hospitality and are punctual and professional. The perfect candidate will embrace and embody our company’s core values: Respect, Teamwork, Hospitality, Pride, and Growth. Providing information to guests about hotel policies, services and amenities. Responding to requests from guests for assistance during their stay. Provide information about the local area (e.g. directions, places to eat, etc.) Selling rooms to “walk-in” customers. Entering/changing reservation information on the computer system. Posting charges to guest accounts. Processing payments from guests. Making necessary corrections to guest accounts. Informing housekeeping department about room status/availability. Listening for and responding to guest complaints. Operating hotel switchboard or PBX. Cleaning the front desk area. Maintaining daily logs and reports. Balancing shift work and cash drawers. Any other duties assigned by Supervisor. Qualifications Have reliable transportation. Be punctual and possess a good attendance record. Flexible and can work weekends and holidays. Demonstrate strong guest service orientation and skills. Exhibit exceptional communication skills. Capable of quickly evaluating alternatives and decide on a plan of action. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. May be required to stand for long periods or lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent English.
