The Comfort Inn in Dickson TN is devoted to offering the best possible guest experience. We are looking for a Front Desk Agent to join our team! This position will be scheduled to work two overnight 11pm-7am and three afternoon 3pm-11pm shifts. A Front Desk Agent is responsible for assisting guests with their requests and balance accounts from the day shift. They check in guests arriving at night, handle guest requests and take reservations. Essentially, a Front Desk Agent’s role is to provide excellent customer service to guests and keep the front desk and accounting operations running smoothly.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Providing information to guests about hotel policies, services and amenities.
• Responding to requests from guests for assistance during their stay.
• Provide information about the local area (e.g. directions, places to eat, etc.)
• Selling rooms to “walk-in” customers.
• Entering/changing reservation information on the computer system.
• Posting charges to guest accounts.
• Processing payments from guests.
• Making necessary corrections to guest accounts.
• Maintaining daily logs and reports. Candidate must meet the following criteria:
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be punctual and possess a good attendance record.
• Ability to work from 11pm-7am on weekdays or weekends, including holidays
• Demonstrate strong guest service orientation and skills.
• Exhibit exceptional communication skills.
