Job Description
Front Desk Associate/Night Auditor Hampton Inn Dandridge 126 Sharon Drive, Dandridge, TN 37725 We are hiring for the front desk! This position requires training for all shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd), however, 3 days a week on Night Audit is required. You must have open availability and be able to work flexible hours to be considered for this position. Mature individuals who are dependable and dedicated need only apply. Coworkers appreciate the positive energy you bring to the team, as well as your inherent ability to have fun while maintaining a high degree of professionalism.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Ability to verbally communicate effectively with guests and co-workers Excellent computer and phone skills Ability to handle transactions in an accurate and professional manor Some exposure to cleaning chemicals Great relationship building skills Check guests in and out, and follow a shift checklist Inform guests about hotel services, directions, room rates and amenities Must be willing to learn, be a part of a team, be open and excited to learn about our Hampton culture. Enthusiasm about this position is a must, and a heart for customer service is required.
EDUCATION REQUIRED
High School Diploma As a Front Desk Agent, you are one of the first ambassadors that a guest comes into contact with and your friendly, authentic approach creates a unique and personalized guest experience when the guest checks in. As the friendly face of the property, a successful Front Desk Agent will tailor their approach by reading cues from a guest to ensure when they check in the guest feels at home. No matter what position you are in, there are a few things that are critical to success: making sure you have a safe work environment following company policies and procedures ensuring your uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional maintaining confidentiality complying with quality assurance standards protecting company assets The Front Desk Agent role will be on your feet and moving around (stand and walk for an extended period of time) and taking a hands-on approach to your work. Doing all these things well (and other things that come your way) is the foundation of the job. Ultimately, the real hallmark of the Front Desk Agent is driving a best-in-class guest experience. Qualified applicants must be Friendly, Authentic, Caring, and Thoughtful. You must have open availability including weekends, nights, and holidays. Exceptional customer service, phone etiquette, basic computer and math skills are a must.
