Front Desk Agent 3-11PM Marriott Knoxville Downtown 525 Henley Street, Knoxville, TN 37902 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. As a Front Desk Agent, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience at our hotel. Duties Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor. Manage front desk operations, including check-in and check-out procedures. Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities. Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions using hotel management software. Process reservations and cancellations efficiently while ensuring accuracy in bookings. Perform night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are balanced at the end of each day. Address guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction. Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery. Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk area. Qualifications Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred. Familiarity with phone systems and hotel management software is an advantage. Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance guest interactions. Knowledge of hospitality management principles is beneficial but not required.
