Immediate Supervisor Operations Manager Job Summary We are currently looking to expand our Black Fox Family. If you are passionate about hospitality and going above and beyond to take care of your guests, this is the place for you; our goal is to make each and every one of our guests feel like they are at their home away from home! The main requirement in this position is friendliness. We are the first face and last face that our guests see, and we need to make a positive, lasting impression! In addition to being the smiling face of The Black Fox Lodge, you must be able to efficiently perform the duties of a guest service agent while in a sometimes fast paced environment and maintain a happy demeanor. Open availability is a must; however, we are more than willing to work with scheduling needs. In your role as a guest services agent here at the Black Fox Lodge you will be expected to perform sales and customer services functions related to guests, reservations, and revenue collection, in a manner that will ensure all Chartwell Hospitality guests receive a safe and secure place to stay with friendly and attentive service. Essential Job Functions Performs the functions of the front desk, including check-ins, check-outs, reservations, answer telephone, provide wake-up calls, etc. Display a positive, upbeat attitude. Provide information about the hotel, facilities, and functions, as well as the local area and attractions. Familiar with property security and key control procedures, as well as fire safety procedures. Completes paperwork necessary for front desk operation. Perform tasks assigned by the Operations Manager or the General Manager. Stock and organize the pantry. Necessary Skills and Attributes Excellent Verbal, Comprehensive, Listening, and Problem-solving Skills Adaptability Report and Accounting Skills Guest Relations Skills Friendly Open Availability Formal Education High School Diploma or equivalent Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, bend, walk, use hands or fingers; or feel objects, tools, or controls; lift boxes (up to 15 pounds); talk and hear. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision to a computer screen.
