Overnight Security / Front Desk 2.8 2.8 out of 5 stars 1746 Mountain Road, Stowe, VT 05672 Stoweflake Mountain Resort & Spa is under new management lookingfor a skilled and enthusiastic Overnight Security / Front Desk to join our professional family. We are located on 29 acres in Stowe Vermont. We have 32 townhouses, a 120 room inn. We are one of the largest Conference Centers in New England with 17 meeting rooms and 25,000 sq ft of meeting space. Our Overnight Security / Front Desk will have a friendly, supportive training process and will gain valuable experience on the job. The Overnight Security / Front Desk assures the highest possible level of visitor and guest satisfaction by providing superior customer service. Responsible for checking guests into and out of the hotel as well as answering phone calls and customer inquiries. This role has additional responsibilities such as patrolling the hotel premises, light maintenance duties in addition to security responsibilities.

Overnight Security Responsibilities:
Evaluate safety equipment and report any damage, maintenance, security, or safety issues Warn or evict troublemakers as needed Notify team members and management of suspicious behaviors Assist management and enforcement officers in emergency situations Check guests into and out of the hotel in an accurate, speedy, and courteous manner Handle all payments received whether they are credit cards, checks, or traveler’s checks Ensure that all hotel keys are distributed to the appropriate parties and that guest privacy is maintained Maintain all documentation regarding room registration, changes, charges, credit card transactions, customer service, and maintenance issues Resolve escalated guest relations issues when needed Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services Respond to and follow up on all guest requests to ensure customers are satisfied with the hotel’s services and accommodation. Positively represent and promote the property Other Duties as
Assigned Requirements:
Friendly Positive attitude Front desk experience is preferred, but will train the right person Highly motivated and a “go getter” Exceptional customer service skills required Must possess strong computer skills Ability to move, and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds and stand for extended periods of time Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal A can-do attitude and a hands-on approach
