Regional Director of Operations Primary Purpose:
The primary purpose of the General Manager is to provide leadership, guidance, and support to the team while fostering the Ram Hotels culture to deliver an excellent guest and associate experience while leading the operations and financial performance of the hotel.
Work Performed:
The General Manager will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments: Collaborating on the development and execution of operational plans for the hotel, ensuring that revenue and guest satisfaction targets are achieved, forecasting financial plans, and preparing the annual hotel budget; Leading associates to achieve Ram service and satisfaction goals through positive guest experiences and social media presence ; Creative use of brand tools and other resources to ensure all current and future guest expectations are met; Managing loss prevention and risk management policies, safety standards, and claims reporting. Empathizing and engaging with associates to continually improve hotel culture and embrace Ram hotels core values; respect, service, inclusion, teamwork, and perseverance; Manage direct reports by ensuring Associates understand employment practices, recommending employment decisions and corrective action, supporting performance management, and implementing discipline Playing an integral leadership role in the community and maintaining a positive image for the property and Atrium; Active involvement in the Sales and Revenue Management function based on Ram standards. Supporting sales and revenue through outstanding guest service to each guest and group, including implementing and maintaining local and national sales/marketing programs; and
Qualifications:
Required Prior Experience:
2+ years experience as an Assistant General Manager and/or General Manager. Working knowledge of hotel operations, including marketing plans, security and safety programs, personnel and labor relations, preparation of business plans, repairs, maintenance, budget forecasting, quality assurance programs, hospitality law, and long-range planning
