The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of guest services, revenue management, and hospitality management. This role is crucial in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service while maintaining operational efficiency and profitability. The Operational Manager will collaborate with the GM to improve our level of service and enhance profitability of the hotel, as well as assist in other operational departments as needed. Responsibilities Manage daily operations, ensuring adherence to brand standards and policies, and ensure efficient operations, as well as staff coverage of every shift. Supervise and train staff to ensure excellent customer service and efficient operations, while creating a positive work environment, in all departments. Coordinate with GM for revenue management strategies to optimize profitability. Coordinate night audit processes and ensure accurate financial reporting. Promote the hotel by demonstrating high level of positive attitude and energy to serve our guests Adhere to all company and brand standard operating procedures. Work with the GM to implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality. Maintain effective communication with all departments of the hotel to ensure seamless operations. Address guest issues and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels. Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, team members and hotel assets in compliance with the hotel’s or owner’s policies and procedures and regulatory requirements. Knowledge and ability to work all departments if needed. Assumes the role of GM, in their absence. Other duties as assign by GM Requirements Proven experience in hotel front desk management or hotel operations management within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of guest services principles and practices. Knowledge of front desk operations and guest services Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Must have the physical ability to walk, bend, and stand for long time periods. As well as lift average weight objects. A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
