Role:

The Front Desk Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the hotel’s front desk team, ensuring smooth guest check-ins and check-outs, managing reservations, and maintaining high customer service standards. They supervise front desk staff, provide training and support, handle guest inquiries and complaints, and coordinate with other departments to enhance guest satisfaction. They also manage cash handling, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

Previous experience in a Front Desk Supervisor or Manager role, in a hotel or hospitality setting. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed. Scheduled as Front Desk coverage occasionally.

Preferred Qualifications:

Supervisory experience in a Front Desk department. Familiarity with hotel operations and guest service standards. Ability to speak multiple languages, particularly Spanish or French is a plus Marriott & Fosse experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the work of the front desk staff Train and mentor Front Desk staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work. Manage inventory of Market & Operating supplies, ensuring an adequate supply is available at all times. Address guest concerns and requests in a timely and professional manner, striving to exceed their expectations. Monitor and communicate guest satisfaction to the entire team while finding ways to ensure we continue to exceed Marriott Brand Benchmarks Ensure training is completed for all associates, enforcing Marriott Brand Standards daily

Skills:

In this role, you will utilize your strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and coordinate the Front Desk staff. Your ability to address guest concerns and requests in a timely and professional manner will contribute to the overall guest experience. Finally, your flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will allow you to prioritize tasks effectively and ensure the smooth operation of the Front Desk department.
