Job Summary:

Manages one or more NEXCOM Hospitality Group (NHG)lodging facilities to ensure performance within established NHGguidelines and standards. Reports directly to an NHG Regional VicePresident.

Duties and Responsibilities:

NHG Program Management dutiesinclude but are not limited to: Operate a professional Department of Defense (DoD) lodgingfacility, similar to a mid-scale commercial hotel, for guests inTDY, PCS, or Leisure status. Coordinate alterations, minor construction, painting, andpreventive maintenance of NHG facilities. Oversee a recurring preventive maintenance program, maximizingfunding and services for effective maintenance. Maintain proper records, files, cash control, receipts, andsafeguard supplies, equipment, and assets. Inspect all areas of NHG lodging operations, identifydeficiencies, implement corrective actions, and verify theirresolution. Ensure compliance with safety, fire, and sanitationregulations, ensuring guest and staff safety/security. Coordinate service requirements with the Contract Specialistfor contracts following NEXCOM policies. Develop and manage operating and equipment budgets incollaboration with NHG Headquarters. Safeguard funds and develop short- and long-term financialplans to meet program goals. Participate in developing and executing the installation NHGbusiness plan, budgets, and capital plans. Meet or exceed profit margins by accurate revenue and expenseforecasting and budget planning. Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction, handle inquiries andcomplaints professionally. Manage services and resources at the installation level,ensuring customer satisfaction. Utilize the NHG Property Management System (PMS) for guest dataand reservations analysis. Use the Enterprise Inventory Management System (CORE-HMS) toverify and modify room inventories across sales channels tomaximize revenue. Process reservations through local and central systems,maintaining the PMS. Market NHG programs through online and print resources toincrease awareness and utilization. Manage real property resources, advising on renovations andconstruction projects. Maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and otherstakeholders to ensure quality guest services. Develop performance work statements for contracts, monitorcompliance through inspections and audits. Manage inventory, consumables, and fixed assets, coordinatingwith fiscal oversight. Ensure lodging costs are reimbursed when establishing rates forsupport services to other programs. Attend training to improve operational management, servicedelivery, and staff development. Supervise staff, ensure adequate staffing levels, and manageschedules, vacations, and personnel matters. Implement NHG policies and procedures, promote EEO policies,and support diversity and inclusion. Maintain operations during emergencies or inclementweather. Perform other duties as assigned, including filing a FinancialDisclosure Report as required.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE

3 years in administrative,technical, or responsible work demonstrating knowledge ofoperational practices, interpersonal skills, and maturejudgment.

ORSUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE

1 year ofacademic study above high school may substitute for 9 months ofexperience, up to a 4-year bachelor’s degree for 3 years of generalexperience.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE

2 years of progressiveexperience in hotel/motel or institutional management, includingprocurement, operational efficiency, sanitation, finance controls,budgeting, staffing, or related fields, demonstrating operationalknowledge and skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
