About the role
The primary responsibilities of the Shipboar Director of Rooms is to irect an oversee the activities of the Guest Services, & Rooms Departments, incluing Spa, KFAS, Housekeeping, Front Office, Retail.

In conjunction with the Hotel’s leaership team an Yacht General Manager, collectively makes key strategic an operational ecisions.
Directly supervises the HODs an ensures thorough communications an follow-up on any problems, guest or crew requests or special requirements. Assures stanars are met, guests an crew are satisfie, an problems are promptly resolve
Works closely with the shoresie Sales & Marketing teams to enhance occupancy levels an rates an assist in preparing business forecasts
Routinely inspects all areas in the housekeeping epartment.
Resolves customers complaints for all areas of hotel, hanling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality an professionalism, accommoating special requests whenever possible.
Resolve complaints in person, by phone or through written communication.
Develops relationship with return guests, group contacts an their guests in orer to provie a personalize level of service.
Assures that financial goals of the ivision an the Yacht are being met.
Monitors an controls labor expense an other ivisional expenses such as supplies an equipment.

Minimum of 5-7 years of relate experience with iversity of Operation management positions in luxury hotels an/or onboar cruise lines as Chief Purser or Director of Operations onboar. Great knowlege about Rooms, & Guest Experience proceures an service stanars. Familiar with principles of hospitality management an all epartments’ specifics.
