The Residence Inn Miami Airport, located at 1201 NW LeJeune Road,Miami, FL 33126 is currently hiring a Inspector-Rooms.

Responsibilities include:

Enter status of rooms cleaned onassignment sheets. Complete checklists to report cleanliness andcondition of each assigned area. Complete required Housekeepingpaperwork. Identify room assignments and type of cleaning requiredfor each room. Inspect guest rooms after being cleaned byHousekeeper. Respond promptly to requests from guests and otherdepartments. Enter guest rooms following procedures for gainingaccess and ensuring vacancy before entering. Assist management inhiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining,and motivating and coaching employees; serve as a role model.

Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures;report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, orinjuries; complete safety training and certifications; properlystore flammable materials. Ensure uniform and personal appearanceare clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietaryinformation; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge allguests according to company standards; anticipate and addressguests’ service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thankguests with genuine appreciation. Ensure adherence to qualityexpectations and standards; identify, recommend, develop, andimplement new ways to increase organizational efficiency,productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings. Develop andmaintain positive working relationships with others; support teamto reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to theconcerns of other employees. Speak with others using clear andprofessional language. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and placeobjects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds withoutassistance. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending,twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand, sit, or walk for anextended period of time. Perform other reasonable job duties asrequested by Supervisors.
