The Front Desk Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the front desk staff, ensuring smooth check-in/check-out processes, handling guest concerns, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires a service-first mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to coach and manage a team under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and support front desk agents, ensuring top-tier service and adherence to hotel standards Manage daily shift operations, staff scheduling, and coverage needs Train and onboard new front desk team members Resolve guest issues with professionalism and urgency, escalating when needed Monitor room availability, rates, and guest accounts in the property management system Ensure smooth coordination between departments (housekeeping, maintenance, reservations) Maintain accurate records of guest interactions, incidents, and shift handovers Handle cash and credit card transactions with accuracy Enforce hotel policies and uphold brand standards

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; degree or certification in hospitality is a plus 2+ years of hotel front desk experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency with property management systems (e.g., Opera, OnQ, Maestro, etc.) Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
