As part of the initial first 10 minutes of a guests experience, the Front Desk Supervisors are responsible for making lasting first impressions, starting with the warm welcome/welcome back, owning each interaction and representing the company as if it is their own. In addition to undertaking various procedural and administrative duties, dealing with and diffusing conflict or tension is also a critical skill we are looking for.

Answer the phone at the front desk to respond to current and prospective guests’ needs Book reservations for individuals, and families as required Greet all guests with a friendly and hospitable demeanor Communicate guests’ requests and complaints to the appropriate department Provide local information for shopping, dining, and recreational destinations Assist with coordination between Housekeeping and Front Desk Ability to take initiative and handle assignments with limited supervision Follow all hotel policies and procedures as outlined in the team member handbook Maintain cleanliness and order of work area Provide excellent customer service skills Provide excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to interact with guests and share hotel knowledge using personalization such as using the guest name Responsible to know all hotel operations to inform each guest Assist in couch and counseling Assist with training of the on-boarding process of new employees
Qualifications:
Experience with Infor HMS is preferred.
