The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a proactive approach to managing staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining the property to high standards. The Motel Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall guest experience while driving operational efficiency. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the motel, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to company policies. Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations to maintain high service standards. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally. Implement marketing strategies to attract new guests and retain existing customers. Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement of services and supplies. Utilize property management software such as Yardi or OneSite for booking management and administrative tasks. Maintain accurate financial records, including budgeting and expense tracking. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements within the property. Collaborate with maintenance staff to manage facilities effectively and address any repair needs. Skills Strong negotiation skills for vendor contracts and service agreements. Proficiency in property management software such as Yardi or OneSite is highly desirable. Excellent administrative skills with attention to detail for managing records and reports. Experience in property management or facilities management is preferred. Ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships through effective communication. Sales acumen to promote services and increase occupancy rates.
