Primary Duties:
Leadership & Team Building:
Recruit, train, and motivate adedicated team of 6-12 staff members. Provide hands-on support andguidance to ensure the team achieves outstanding results.
Exceptional Guest Services:
Ensure the hotel is always ‘GuestReady’ by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and swiftlyaddressing any guest concerns. Manage and address guest reviews tomaintain review standards.
Operational Excellence:
Follow brand guidelines, meetoperational deadlines, manage budgets, control labor, occupancy,and P&L’s to facilitate successful hotel operations.
Sales & Marketing:
Network within the local community topromote the property and build strong relationships withcompetitive properties, local organizations, and key clients. Leadin-house guest sales and marketing initiatives to increaseoccupancy.
Teamwork:
Assist with housekeeping in rooms as needed and dailycompletion of laundry duties and public space needs. Flexible forcovering employee shifts as needed to ensure operational continuityin the event of unexpected absences.
Emergency Procedures:
Know and follow property emergencyprocedures and ensure the security needs of the property and guestsare met. Other Duties as Assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
Valid Driver’s License. 1+ years of experience as a Hotel General Manager. Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solvingabilities. Effective oral and written communication skills. Proactive and aggressive in solving problems. Strong leadership and team development skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
PhysicalRequirements:
Repetitive climbing of stairs and occasionally ladders. Perform tasks involving kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing,bending and twisting for long periods of time. Ability to lift, push, pull up to 20lbs regularly, occasionallyup to 50lbs. #J-18808-Ljbffr
