Job Description:

Military Veterans are Encouraged to Apply. -An EngineeringSupervisor will be responsible for shift coverage and thereforemust possess strong trouble-shooting skills in all areas ofmaintenance in guest rooms, meeting space, and front of the houseareas, as well as back of house areas including kitchen, laundry,electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems, and using computersystems. Ability to read blue prints and schematics is alsorequired. A minimum of 5-years building maintenance experience isrequired, with hotel experience preferred. A strong workingknowledge of all major building systems, including life-safetysystems, is required for this position. Good communication skillsare necessary. Additionally, this position requires strongleadership skills, and a willingness to work different shifts asthe demands of business dictates.

Qualifications:

Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills. Has experience leading or supervising a team and is proficientat assigning and delegating tasks as needed. Experience with wiring and basic troubleshooting of electricalissues. Has at least four years of experience working in a facilitiesmaintenance or engineering role. Basic computer skills and experience ordering and sourcingparts Basic knowledge and experience with plumbing. HVAC certification and/or hands-on experience & skills withHVAC systems Experience working on commercial kitchen equipment. Passion for working on a team and works well with others. Schedule flexibility based on hotel demands and businesslevels.
