The Front Desk Manager at Hampton Inn is responsible for overseeing front desk operations and ensuring a welcoming and efficient guest experience. This role involves managing a team of front desk staff, handling customer inquiries, complaints, and reservations, and maintaining operational budgets and standards aligned with Hilton’s exceptional service culture. A successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:

Manage front desk staff, providing training, performance evaluations, and motivational guidance to ensure a high standard of service. Create front desk staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage at all times, optimizing operational efficiency.

Guest Service Excellence:

Greet and check in guests, ensuring the highest level of customer service and satisfaction. Address and resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally. Maintain knowledge of local attractions, events, and hotel amenities to enhance guest experience.

Operational Management:

Oversee daily front desk operations, ensuring that both staff and resources are utilized efficiently. Manage room inventory and ensure proper handling of bookings, cancellations, and billing processes. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained.

Financial Management:

Assist in budget planning, monitoring expenses, and revenues to help achieve financial goals. Ensure accurate processing of financial transactions, from check-ins to check-outs, and manage cash handling procedures.

Reporting & Compliance:

Prepare and maintain daily reports related to occupancy and revenue management. Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Marketing Support:

Promote hotel services and amenities to guests, encouraging upselling to enhance revenue. Assist in executing special promotions and events planned by the hotel management

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in hotel front desk operations or management, preferably in a brand hotel setting. Strong leadership skills and proven ability to manage and motivate a team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in hotel management software and MS Office Suite. Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift to 25 pounds. May require exposure to various indoor and outdoor environments.
