The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that guests receive exceptional service while maintaining efficient hotel management practices. The Hotel General Manager will be responsible for driving revenue, managing staff, and enhancing the overall guest experience. Responsibilities Lead and manage all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and guest services. Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and occupancy rates through effective revenue management. Supervise and mentor hotel staff, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging professional development. Ensure high standards of guest services are maintained at all times, addressing any guest concerns promptly and effectively. Oversee human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff scheduling. Manage the hotel’s budget and financial performance, analyzing reports to identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with department heads to ensure seamless communication and coordination across all hotel functions. Maintain knowledge of local market trends and competitor offerings to enhance the hotel’s competitive positioning. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company policies. Requirements Proven experience in hotel management or a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Knowledge of revenue management principles and practices. Proficiency in managing phone systems and front desk operations. Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a diverse clientele. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.
