The Atlanta Airport Marriott, located at 4711 Best Rd., Atlanta, GA30337 is currently hiring a Supervisor-Night Audit.
Responsibilities include:
Assist staff with expediting problempayments (e.g., problems processing credit card). Follow up withguest regarding satisfaction with guest-related issues. Process allguest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning room, andissuing and activating room key. Process all payment types such asroom charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit. Set up accurateaccounts for each guest upon check-in (i.e., sharewiths, separateroom/tax/incidentals, comp). Anticipate sold-out situations andobtain satisfactory alternative accommodations when the propertycannot accommodate guests with reservations. Block rooms in thecomputer and identify designated requirements and requests. Contactappropriate individual or department (e.g., Bellperson,Housekeeping) as necessary to resolve guest call, request, orproblem. Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of roomsfor check-in. Review shift logs/daily memo books and documentpertinent information in logbooks. Count bank at the beginning andend of shift. Balance and drop receipts according to Accountingspecifications. Assist management in training, motivating, andcoaching employees; serve as a role model and first point ofcontact of the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policyprocess. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions tomanager; complete safety training and certifications. Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform andpersonal appearance are clean and professional; maintainconfidentiality of proprietary information. Anticipate and addressguests’ service needs. Speak with others using clear andprofessional language; prepare and review written documentsaccurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriateetiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships withothers. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Move, lift,carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to10 pounds without assistance.
