Job Description
Hotel Assistant General Manager Hampton Inn Norcross-Jimmy Carter 5655 Jimmy Carter Boulevard, Norcross, GA 30071 Oversee all property positions in absence of the General Manager Assists the General Manager in directing and overseeing all operational activities and departments in the hotel to maximize revenue and deliver a positive experience and exceptional customer service for the guests. Ability to perform all Front Office, Housekeeping and operational duties. Ability to perform Sales and sales administrative duties. Ability to provide Sales support, prospecting new business, and managing current hotel accounts. Ensure that departments achieve or exceed guest’s service expectations. Assist with staff training and development. Oversee all accounting functions, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, petty cash, payroll and ordering procedures. Possess and utilize excellent time management, communication and interpersonal skills. Perform other duties as required. Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Ability to deal with management, associates, guests, and general public in a courteous, tactful and patient manner. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and time management skills. Understand PMS and daily selling strategies. Delphi , PEP, and Excel experience a plus. Ability to work as a team player with all levels of hotel staff. Excellent guest relation skills. Strong interpersonal skills needed to cultivate customer relations and work with associates of various levels and backgrounds.
