Position Summary:

The Front Desk Manager is responsible for overseeing all front desk operations to ensure exceptional guest service, efficient check-ins and check-outs, and effective coordination with other departments. This role combines leadership, customer service, and organizational skills to enhance guest satisfaction and maintain the hotel’s reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service Excellence Ensure all guests are greeted warmly and professionally. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and effectively. Foster a welcoming atmosphere to promote guest satisfaction and loyalty. Team Leadership Recruit, train, and supervise front desk staff. Schedule and manage team shifts to maintain optimal coverage. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Operations Management Oversee the check-in, check-out, and reservation processes. Maintain accurate guest records and financial transactions. Monitor front desk equipment and supplies, ensuring functionality and availability. Coordination and Communication Act as the primary liaison between the front desk and other hotel departments. Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and other teams to meet guest needs. Implement and uphold hotel policies and procedures. Revenue and Reporting Assist in achieving revenue goals by promoting hotel services and upselling opportunities. Prepare and analyze front desk performance reports, including occupancy and revenue metrics. Ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in hospitality management, preferably in a front desk or supervisory role. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in hotel management software and basic accounting. Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). Minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel front desk operations.
