Your Role as Front Desk Supervisor As the Front Desk Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the front desk—leading a team of front desk associates, ensuring seamless guest experiences, and acting as the Manager on Duty when scheduled. You’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming, polished, and guest-first environment that keeps travelers coming back. Key Responsibilities Lead and support the front desk team to deliver outstanding guest service Supervise check-in/check-out processes, reservations, and guest interactions Interview, hire, train, and mentor front desk team members Manage team schedules and approve time records Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction Handle guest issues or complaints promptly and professionally Perform administrative and operational duties, including reports, records, and shift checklists Ensure compliance with hotel brand standards, policies, and safety protocols Act as Manager on Duty when needed, handling overall hotel operations Participate in revenue management efforts to optimize occupancy and room rates Maintain a clean, organized front desk and lobby area Support special events, group bookings, and meeting room setups Perform additional tasks or support other departments as needed
What We’re Looking For Required:
Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience required
Required:
Prior supervisory or management experience preferred
Required:
High school diploma or GED preferred Strong communication and leadership skills A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays Dependable, organized, and highly motivated
