Salary will range in the high 50’s to 60’s. Hours will vary based on events in the venue. Responsible for the overall operations of the VooDoo Lounge.
Job Description:
Ensures the guest service and experience at Voodoo is distinguishable from competitors in the area and meets company’s Mission, Vision and Values. Tracks post event/show performance and reports results. Actively promotes Voodoo in local community to effectively increase covers. Actively seeks out events, rentals, and performances to drive revenue to the outlet. Administers club policies and procedures, as well as company policies and procedures. Acts as liaison with D.J., vendors, national tours and other key stakeholders. Responsible for event creation via Ticketmaster and all ticketing operations and floor plans in accordance with event contracts. Collaborates with C3 on contract creation. Collaborates with property AV and production teams. Establishes and administers training programs within the outlet. Counsels, guides, and instructs personnel in the proper performance of their duties. Develops and administers internal controls for all phases of Voodoo to maintain an atmosphere of compliance to company and department policies and established standards while maximizing profitability. Assists in the development and administration of procedures for food and beverage service for maximum guest satisfaction. Supervises room operations staff and is responsible for labor controls to meet guest satisfaction, safety, and budgeted labor expense. Ensures that all beverage products served meet the established standards. Ensures that available facilities are adequate for performance of duties by assigned personnel. Maintains and instructs assigned personnel on safety policies and procedures and follows up to ensure that hazards are eliminated. Performs assigned input work in compiling annual budgets, post event reports, supply orders and maintains product inventory. Prepares and coordinates the periodical performance reviews of assigned personnel. Acts as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Harrah’s. Establishes and administers training programs within the assigned outlet. Counsels, guides and instructs personnel in the proper performance of their duties. The term “management” includes duties such as interviewing; training; selecting and adjusting rates of pay and hours of work; directing the work of employees; maintaining production; appraising employees’ productivity and efficiency for purposes of recommending promotions or other changes (evaluations); handling employees’ grievances and complaints; disciplining employees; planning work; providing for safety and security; and monitoring or implementing legal compliance matters.
Knowledge, Skills & Education Preferred :
Bachelor degree in Food and Beverage or related field Five to ten years of experience in the restaurant industry including 5 years as a manager Strong knowledge of beverage industry. Excellent interpersonal, customer service, leadership, communication, team building and problem solving skills. Demonstrated ability in maintaining consistent, high quality guest service levels. Able to manage F&B costs control and coordination. Ability to compile and analyze pertinent data needed for reports. Able to work all shifts and long hours if needed.
Physical Requirements :
Must be able to maneuver throughout hotel and casino, including up and down stairs, lift and carry upwards of 50 pounds, bend, reach, twist and grip items. Respond to visual and oral cues. Manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment, including 10 key adding machine, personal computers, fax machine and photo copier. Read, write, speak and understand English.

Licensing and Certification Required :
Employees may be required to obtain a Missouri Gaming Commission license. The initial license is paid for by the employee through payroll deduction. All subsequent renewals for the license are paid by Harrah’s North Kansas City.
