The General Manager is responsible for leading all aspectsof hotel operations at the Hampton Inn – Biloxi/Ocean Springs, MS,ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, financial performance, andteam development. This individual will oversee daily operations,drive revenue strategies, maintain brand standards, and foster apositive and productive work culture in line with companyvalues.

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:

Oversee daily hotel operations to ensure smooth, efficient, andprofitable functioning across all departments. Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, andguest service in accordance with Hilton brand expectations. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws andregulations, including health and safety standards.

Team Management:

Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate department heads andstaff. Create a culture of accountability, engagement, and excellenceamong all team members. Conduct regular meetings and performance evaluations to ensurealignment with goals.

Guest Experience:

Champion a guest-first culture by addressing guest concernspromptly and ensuring high satisfaction scores (e.g.,SALT/Medallia). Monitor guest feedback channels and implement action plans toimprove service.

Financial Management:

Develop and manage the annual budget, forecast, and financialreports. Monitor P&L performance and implement strategies tomaximize profitability and control costs. Drive revenue through occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and upsellinginitiatives.

Sales & Marketing:

Partner with Sales to increase market share and drive businessto the property. Participate in community and brand-related events to promotethe hotel. Analyze market trends and develop strategies to optimizecompetitive positioning.

Brand & Property Standards:

Ensure compliance with all Hilton brand standards and corporateprocedures. Oversee property maintenance and capital improvementprojects. Conduct regular inspections and follow up on correctiveactions.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3-5 years of hotel management experience, preferablywithin the Hilton brand or select-service hotels. Proven leadership experience in operations, team building, andfinancial accountability. Strong knowledge of hotel systems (e.g., OnQ, Hilton reportingtools, financial reporting platforms). Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solvingskills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends andholidays, as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, orrelated field. Strong understanding of Biloxi/Ocean Springs market and tourismtrends.
