Virtelle Hospitality is in search of an energetic andexperienced General Manager for the Holiday Inn Express & Suites atthe Asheville Outlet Center. Conveniently located with access tomajor highways, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and large area employers,the Holiday Inn Express & Suites at the Asheville Outlet Centeroffers a unique opportunity for an energetic and driven GeneralManager. Operating within a culture of service and of servantleadership, the General Manager will be responsible for the overallsuccessful and profitable operation of this property. General Oversee and guide the overallsuccess and performance of the hotelLiaise with management companyto set and achieve hotel goalsContinually collaborate with sales,revenue management, human resources, accounting, maintenance andcompany executivesMaximize team potential by balancing operationswith guest, employee, brand & owner satisfactionFinancialManagement Monitor market trends and conduct competitor analysis toensure competitive pricing/offeringsIdentify new businessopportunities and strategies to increase occupancy, ADR and overallrevenueMaintain strong relationships with key clients and businesspartners to drive repeat business & referralsDevelop and managebudgets and forecasting for each departmentMentor departmentmanagers to keep expenses within target levelsMonitor operationalcosts and implement cost-saving measures where possible withoutcompromising guest experiences.

The ideal candidate for the GeneralManager at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites will have demonstratedexperience in the following areas:

Minimum of 5 years of experienceas a General Manager of a franchise hotel.

Proven ability to lead,motivate, develop and manage a diverse team of hospitalityprofessionals.

Strong financial acumenDemonstrated experience inmanaging budgets, financial reporting, and revenueoptimization.

Proven track record of driving revenue growth andmanaging expensesExcellent interpersonal and communicationskillsProven ability to build and maintain relationships withguests, staff, and stakeholders.

Exceptional problem-solving anddecision-making skills- with a customer-focused mindset.

Knowledgeof hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food andbeverage, sales, marketing maintenance and operationalKPI’s.

Familiarity with hotel management software and systems, suchas PMS systems.

Previous experience with IHG brand propertiespreferred but not requiredStrong organizational and time-managementskills, with the ability to prioritize and delegate taskseffectively.
